Hang On! Many Exciting Reviews To Come In November

Around my community, we refer to the past 31 days as Sucktober. Many things were tragic, stressful and life altering. My family, friends and I are ringing in November with joy and thankfulness as it's theme. Do you know how difficult this can be with a dry sarcastic wit? I'll have to notch back the weird humor a little to fit in.....nah! But despite off-kilter snarkism, I am and will be thankful.

I wanted to mention many things to look forward to on Polarbelle as we cruise to the holidays. Of particular interest to me is finding that my computer forgot who I am and where I go, so I look forward to renewing that relationship as well as the one with you, my readers.

So let's talk goodies! You've probably seen the OPI Muppet Collection of nail polish, but maybe you won't mind a few more swatches. What about the China Glaze Holiday sets and polishes? Oh and I was thrilled to death to see the Wet N Wild Coloricon glitter nail polishes. Woot! Woot! And Deborah Lippmann polishes...almose one new one for each finger!! I also ordered some OPI for Sephora Holiday nail polishes off the website during the sale.

Speaking of the Sephora sale, what did you purchase? I bought a lot of Dior. The Celebration palette for holiday is awesome. And I love the tweed packaging of it. I have purchased one of the new Bare Escentuals pressed mineral eye palettes and declare it a whopping success. And there's a new Stila Palette that is a must have, especially if you travel a lot.

Oh, let's not forget Mac Holiday!! The box above arrived on Halloween making me feel like I had won the lotto of Trick-or-treating. And then there's Chanel Holiday! And my new love of playing with and moving around those little $5 Inglot eyeshadow pans.

From time to time, there will be some guest posting to help me out so I don't leave you completely in the lurch while I'm playing catch up.

Icing Pumpkin Nail Polish With OPI Black Shatter Glows Like An Active Volcano

For the week before Halloween, my fingernails seemed to glow with the fiery molten lava of an erupting volcano. I laid down a base of two coats of Icing Pumpkin, a glittering orange. It was crackled with OPI Black Shatter. The Pumpkin nail polish just has this great glow that made my nails look like the rumbling erupting volcano outside the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. It was uber cool. I loved looking at the glow. It doesn't show the nearly holographic glow in pictures, but trust me, it was quite hot with fire.

I had cut my nails to shorties to do this manicure. It just seemed like the color and the shatter would be better on shorties. I'm glad I did because I loved it.
