Dear Readers, Visitors, Companies and Supporters Of All Types....

I wanted to take a moment to tell you I haven't turned to dust I hopefully I'll be returning later this week. If you haven't read it on my Facebook or Instagram page yet, I had surgery a month ago. But let me back up just a little.

I was due to have surgery to fuse my neck in two places, (from a fall on the ice around a year and a half ago), in April. If you've been with me that long, you'll remember I had surgery on my legs and shoulder last year. I think it took me about three months until I could lift the laptop to blog.

Anyway, the doctor wanted me to get in the best shape I could before surgery so it seems I've messed up my knee and I'm in therapy for that. But before I could get to the surgery, I got pneumonia. SO...My surgery was put off three weeks, we had my son's high school graduation, and now I'm a month post surgery. Today, I am able to lift my laptop from the stand it's been sitting on. Hooray, progress!!!

I have three weeks of emails to catch up on and some things to write up for My Beauty Bunny. About the time I get back on track for you, I'll be attending Cosmoprof North America, a very exciting beauty show for beauty professionals and media personnel and I'll have tons of things to tell you about what I see there and am allowed to talk about from various exhibitors.

Speaking of Cosmoprof, I got this flyer in the mail this past week and was pretty excited by the picture on the inside cover. In the front row left and right are Lindsey from Neverland Nail Blog and Carly from Lacquered Lover. Behind them you can see Destany from Confessions of a Sarcastic Mom on the left. Directly behind Carly is Ria of Ria Loves Pawlish, and then the blondie on the right is Me! How fun it was to open the advertisement and see part of our group!!! You can read all kinds of posts I did about Cosmoprof 2012, mainly from July '12 thru September '12.

So I really wanted you to know I haven't forgotten you. I've missed talking to you. It's just been such a more difficult recovery than I thought. I figured it would be two weeks and then I'd just run around with my neck brace in my way. The truth is, it's a long surgery, I had a few complications, and in the meantime, I have ordered many things to tell you all about. I can't wait.

Here's a fun thing my friends did for me right after the surgery. The neck brace had this big ugly yellow circle in the middle and my friends Candice DeGraff and Tracy Skipworth said, "There is no way you're going to graduation looking like that!!!" So they came over and this is what they did:

I love these girls so much and I appreciate what they did in helping this crazy thing to look acceptable at graduation. And honestly, I have never had more positive comments on a piece of jewelry than I've had on this neck brace!!

So that's where I've been. I'm not leaving. I am way behind, but I am on my way back!!!
