Finally able to do a manicure, but now sporting shorties, (dang it!!), I chose I Want Applause from the OPI Muppets Most Wanted Collection. I have several different pictures to show you in different lightings. It does change a little based on your lighting conditions, but in my opinion, the first and last pictures are most accurate. I include the other two just so that you know what it might look like indoors or in low lighting.
Who doesn't love a great Muppet, right? This collection has several polishes, but I knew right away that this was the first manicure I would do. I've been wanting to do either a white or a clean pink with a white tone to it. I Want Applause is such a pink. It is a clean cool light pink that can lean white in certain lightings.
I loaded these pictures with my cell phone, which was a first time, so I'm desperately hoping that works out!
The first picture is outside on a cloudy day.

The next picture is in the shade, but it shows how the polish may look in indoor lighting. It leans a little warmer that way, rather than the true cool pink lean that it really is.
Again, below, I believe is more representative of the true color.
In my haste to hop a flight and ride sux hours to get home, I neglected to do the review part of this post! I began applying I Want Applause with a thin coat. I found it streaky and difficult to get an even application. No worried there as I always do two coats anyway.
On my second thin coat, the polish dudnt even up and level out as I had anticipated. Still not a huge deal to me because this perfect baby pink is worth a little effort and I put a third thicker coat.
It leveled and even out with the third coat and I put a coat of Seche Vite over the top and was good to go. I totally and completely am head over heels in love with this nail polish!!
I was so delighted, last night watching the Oscars, to see that this color is right on trend! Did you notice the mani-cam they have? I saw so many light nude to nude-pink colors...woo hoo!!
Have you seen the collection yet? Which polish are you most looking forward to?
