Reviva Labs Cleansing Gel, Elastin & Collagen Toner Reviews PLUS A Giveaway!!

Last week, I brought you a review that featured Reviva Labs Spider Vein and Rosacea Day Cream.  I told you a little about the company in that post and today I want to tell you a little more.  Did you know that Reviva Labs was established 38 years ago and it is the first skin care line to be offered in health food stores?  They don't test on animals and use all natural ingredients in their products.  They offer a money back guarantee on all products and they honestly want to help you with your skin care concerns.  They give excellent customer service and are quite responsive thru any method you use to contact them.  I wish all companies were as delightful to deal with.
Today, I want to tell you about their Cleansing Gel and also the Elastin & Collagen Toner.  While you read this review, wait for the Rafflecopter to load because we have a giveaway sponsored by Reviva Labs, but I'll tell you that in a few minutes!

Reviva Labs Cleanser and Collagen Toner

The good people at Reviva helped me to pick a cleanser and a toner that would be suited for my particular skin type.   The Cleansing Gel is the perfect cleanser for me.  It thoroughly cleanses my skin and doesn't leave it dry or feeling tight like so many do.  That's really important to me as I have dry skin.  Using a moisturizer that actually helps moisturize and soften my skin, as it says on the label, has been great for me.  And the really big surprise is that a full 4 ounces of this products is ONLY $8!!!  I've paid a lot more in the past to leave my skin feeling tight and dry after cleansing.
Let me show you, from the product itself what it uses to moisturize and how to use it:

Reviva Labs Cleanser

Great ingredients to keep skin soft and supple!!

Reviva Labs Cleansing Gel

I might consider trying the Glycolic Acid Cleanser next because I do appreciate the exfoliation of a good glycolic acid. Or I may just stick with the Cleansing Gel because it doesn't strip my skin while it cleanses and I already know I really like it.
After the Cleansing Gel, I use the Elastin & Collagen Toner.  Reviva Labs is the first, I said the FIRST, to bring elastin to America in skin care.  This product is available in a 4 ounce bottle and also retails for just $8.  I love this stuff.  It just feels like I'm doing something really good for my skin.  I use it over my face, neck and decollete areas.

Let's look at what's inside the bottle:

Reviva Labs Elastin Collagen Toner

Reviva Labs Elastin Collagen Toner

I would really recommend these products, especially over more expensive products that strip my skin of moisture. I also would recommend the company itself because I've had nothing but great contact with them. They've always been attentive to my concerns and have helped me to choose products that seem to be made just for me. I'm impressed with their quick responses over social media as well. These products were provided by the company for my consideration and all opinions are my own honest review.

Reviva Labs products can be purchased at various health food stores, their own website, (the links provided above), and at Ulta stores.

So let's talk GIVEAWAY!!! I contacted Reviva Labs to ask if they would like to sponsor a giveaway and they have been so very gracious to provide a giveaway of the FOUR products that I have reviewed on my blog: Reviva Labs Makeup Primer, Reviva Labs Spider Vein and Rosacea Day Cream, and the two products in this review, the Cleansing Gel and the Elastin & Collagen Toner.  I would urge you to read the other two reviews to familiarize yourself with the products and see what you may win. The contest is open to US contestants only.  Wait for Rafflecopter to load and follow the entries for greater odds of winning.

The contest runs for just a week, so enter now! Tweet daily to increase your odds of winning.

Reviva Labs Spider Vein & Rosacea Day Cream With Vitamin K - It Works!!

Do you struggle with rosacea or facial spider veins?  Would you believe me if I told you I know of a cream that can help?  Sometimes if something sounds too good to be true, it's really not. When I heard Reviva Labs had a cream that could help spider veins, I wondered if it could work for me. I'm pleased to report that it does.

Several months ago, I began a medication to increase circulation in my hands. It works by dilating small capillaries to get more blood flowing. Imagine my surprise when I realized it does the dilating all over, not just where I need it. Spider veins started to creep up on my face. The good folks at Reviva Labs heard my distress and came to my rescue with their Spider Vein & Rosacea Day Cream.

Look at the goodies in the cream:

Reviva Labs Spider Vein and Rosacea cream

The actual cream is a nice pleasing white color of moderate consistency.

Reviva Labs Spider Vein and Rosacea Day Cream

This tiny amount on my fingertip is almost double what I use each day. I've been using it just about six weeks and it still looks full and brand new.

Reviva Labs Spider Vein and Rosacea Day Cream

I took 100 pictures of my face trying to capture good "before" pictures of the spider veins.  I wanted the proof that the cream either worked or it didn't.  The pictures don't show the veins as well as my 10x mirror does, so I just don't have good before and after pictures for you. I have had significant shrinkage of these veins in my problem areas. It's suggested to use this during the day because it does have SPF 15 in it.

Keeping in mind that I continue to take the medicine that has caused me spider veins, I will continue to use this cream. I would LOVE to pass on a sample to a friend with Rosacea but I don't really know anyone locally that has it. I'd love to hear how it would work for them. Rosacea has the same kind of trouble with veins being overactive as spider veins are and I can only imagine this cream would be as helpful to them as it is to me.

If you have facial spider veins or rosacea, I'd like to suggest you try this cream. It takes regular use and I think it could be helpful to you. You can purchase is for $19.00 on the Reviva Labs website.  I've also seen the brand for sale at Ulta.  You might consider following them on facebook and Twitter.  The people there are very conscientious and attentive to their customers.  I would like to thank Reviva Labs for providing this product to me for testing.  (Please see my disclosure policy for more information).
Do you have a favorite Reviva Labs product?  I'd love to hear your stories.

Reviva Labs Makeup Primer Is Simply Amazing!!

Can you imagine sweeping a substance over your skin and instantly having no pores, nearly no wrinkles or blemishes and absolutely smooth, even skin? I couldn't imagine it either until I tried Reviva Labs Makeup Primer. I almost feel that I am doing you a disservice by not providing feel-o-vision so you can see and touch the difference in skin tone and texture once this product is applied. It really is amazing.

I've tried other primers in the past. When Smashbox first came out with theirs, I tried it and broke out from it with little allergic bumps. That didn't impress me much. I tried Laura Mercier's primer, and it was ok. I have and use Mac's Prep and Prime from time to time. If you've used it, you'll know it has additional optical diffusers that provide some added micro-sparkle. It smooths my face some, but nothing like the Reviva Labs Primer. Oh. My. Gosh. It's just that good.

This primer has some additives that benefit your skin over time. There is CoQ10, Vitamins D3 and A...what other primers do you know that have ingredients to help your skin, besides the optical advantages it provides?

The bottle has a pump top dispenser. You can pump it onto your finger and apply it to your face, (and even your neck and chest, if you want), or you can do it the way I do. I love working with brushes; I find brush strokes to be soothing and relaxing in a theraputic way. When I paint, I am able to work out the whole world's problems thru the rhythm of brush strokes. So I pump some out to my foundation brush and apply it that way and watch the magic.

When I first used this primer, it knocked my socks off!! There was such a difference in how my skin looked...visibly smoother and I saw my lines and pores just disappear!!! I was amazed. I've not seen that with any other primers. And how smooth it felt!! It was as if my skin felt just like a fancy silk scarf because it was so smooth and silky. And looking in the mirror, I was tempted to throw foundation aside because of the completeness that the primer gives my skin. It's a wonder!!

In my exploration of the primer, I have sampled it to people of different skin types. I am dry with fine lines and I've shared it with people who have combination skin, oily skin, and break-out prone. Everyone raved about it. Everyone. Not one bad comment.

Sometimes it's hard for a blogger to write such a raving review because I know that until you, the reader, experience the product, you just won't know how really amazing it is, and it might seem like I was on a sugar rush when I wrote this or something, but this, by far, is the best beauty product I've ever used on my face. I saw immediate positive results. I know you will, too. I can't say enough good things about it.

Reviva Labs provided me with the Makeup Primer for testing, but I'm telling you, my review and absolute love for this product is 100% honest evaluation by myself and several friends. The full one ounce of this product sells for $19.50 on the Reviva Labs website. I don't have a formal relationship with the company, but I want to provide you the link for your ease in purchasing this amazing product.

Have you tried anything from Reviva Labs yet? Or do you have another primer that you love? What is your favorite ever beauty product you've used on your face?

Have Soft Supple Skin With Reviva Labs 10% Glycolic Acid Cream

Let's take a moment to talk about skin...facial skin. I've found that as time passes, for some reason my skin gets bumpier. There can be a roughness to it if I slack off on my skincare. And lines...yeah, those too. One of the best things to do for lines, wrinkles and bumpiness is to introduce an exfoliator into your skincare process. I was fortunate to receive a sample of Reviva Labs 10% Glycolic Acid Cream, (1.5 oz / $29) and it was true love at first use. You can read more about this Leaping Bunny certified cruelty free company here and here.

cruelty free, skincare, mature skin, exfoliation

Glycolic Acid is an AHA derived from sugar cane.  It is used to exfoliate the top layer of skin and promote cellular renewal.  The molecules are very small and penetrate the surface of the skin.  The allow the outer layer of dead skin to exfoliate off the top, revealing softer smoother skin.  Glycolic Acid is used to treat wrinkles, dark spots, uneven skintone, bumpiness and improve skin's tone, texture and look.  Those darned skin curses that pop up around 35 or 40 can be improved with regular use of an AHA in your skin care routine.

Here are the ingredients, all natural and cruelty free:  Purified water, 101% glycolic acid polymer (extracts of sugar and rhubarb), extracts of pumpkin, peach, sage, cornfrey, chamomile, witch hazel, vitamins A, D, E, safflower oil and sunflower oil.

The 10% Glycolic Acid Cream is white and absorbs easily.

cruelty free, natural, skin care

It should be used at most every other night before bed.  I use it a couple of times a week.  Sensitive skin types should begin with the 5% Glycolic Acid Cream and adjust to that first.  If you have some irritation the next morning, be sure to apply moisturizer over it the next time you use it.   Don't use your AHA's the same night that you do a manual exfoliation, such as with a brush or beaded exfoliator.  Both manual and chemical rejuvenation are important and I use both, but not on the same night.

I really like this.  The first time I used it, I was amazed by how SMOOTH my skin was in the morning.  I've never had irritation from it but I also don't have sensitive skin.  It improves my skin texture.   There's just nothing like having a face as smooth as a baby's bottom.  Like the back side of a baby, you'll have fresh skin exposed to be sure to protect it with an SPF.  Again, the cream contains all natural cruelty-free ingredients.  The 10% Glycolic Acid Cream is something that I simply NEED to have in my skincare routine so that I don't look really old and dry.  :)  And rough.

If you haven't tried Reviva Labs yet, you should.  I have reviewed several of their products and they have never disappointed me.  You can purchase on their website or at Ulta Beauty.  Be sure to browse the Reviva Labs website as their range of products is greater than what Ulta carries.

Do you do regular exfoliation for skin turnover and renewal?  What's your routine?
