How Algenist Tinted Moisturizer Won My Homerun Derby

Let's be REALLY honest right from the first pitch; all beautyfiles are continually searching for the perfect foundation type of product to use to prime their facial canvas. I've felt fortunate over the years  to have found a few different products that I've liked, experiencing  tinted moisturizers as well as cream, liquid and powder foundations of every type and in every price range. I'm telling you right off the bat that Algenist Repairing Tint and Radiance Moisturizer, ($42), is, hands down, my all time favorite and blows all others out of the water!!!!  It's so much more incredible than any other I've tried and yes, it is HOLY GRAIL status.

SPF30, tinted moisturizer, skincare, foundation, microalgea oil

You might want to know why I make such a bold claim?  Well, let me tell you my experience, (and why I've already re-ordered backups).

If you've been with me awhile, you'll know Algenist is one of my favorite brands ever.  You can read more about the company and their products here.  I have a few more products to talk about in upcoming posts but if you check my reviews, you'll see each says some variation of  "get this product!"  The Repairing Tint and Radiance Moisturizer is no exception.  YOU WANT THIS ONE!!!

There are three components of the tinted moisturizer that are important to note.  The first is that this has an SPF30.  This is a broad spectrum sunscreen, and here it is in the midst of summer in the desert southwest and my skin is fully protected!!  I haven't burned, haven't had a dark spot...none of that stuff that happens with a lower protection or, (yikes!), no protection at all.  Please wear sunscreen!!  You're saving your skin as well as your life and the signs of age will show much more slowly.  If you can't remember to apply it alone as you go about your day, make sure it's in your foundation, such as with this product.

The second aspect to the Repairing Tint and Radiance Moisturizer is the skincare it contains.  Virtually all tinted moisturizers, BB and CC creams make skincare claims.  Algenist's are as such:

(From their website):
  • Instantly blurs skin imperfections
  • Reduces the appearance of redness and sallow tones
  • Improves and refines skin texture
  • Provides broad spectrum sun protection
Never before have I found any type of foundation or tinted moisturizer that actually helped my skin itself, no matter what the claims were.  The Algenist has ABSOLUTELY made my skin look better with every application.  I can make the bold statement and be 100% accurate and truthful in saying that my skintone is more even, the redness is gone, an age spot I had is disappearing, and the texture of my skin is definitely improved.

I had developed some bumpyness from a hideous scaring event that lasted two years.  That has been smothed with the use of the Algenist and the color has evened out.  The people who see me in my offscreen life know just how awful this was.   Dare I include a picture?  I hadn't intended to do this but I need to show you just how amazing Algenist is!

I suffered for two years from a complication of celiac disease.  At the time, we didn't know what it was.  I went to about six dermatologists in varying states and nobody had a clue.  The condition hit my face after my second neck surgery.  I had blisters and open sores.  It was ugly, hideous, deforming, itchy and painful.  After surgery, I looked like this:

I had been blessed with decent skin for most of my life.  I was thankful for that but I wondered if this new experience would be the death of my beauty blogging career.  It got far worse before I got better.  I could no longer try to cover it with makeup, and only showed myself to my closest friends.  They were even horrified.  The next picture I call my Frankenstein Look.  It was so bad and the sores so deep that my two knee surgeries had to be done with a spinal block because they didn't want to put a mask on my face.  In other words, I had to be awake.

SOOOOoooooo not pretty!!!  Shortly after the picture in the hair salon, I was sent a bottle of the Algenist Advanced Anti Aging Repair Oil.  This product CHANGED MY LIFE!!  In six weeks, I saw a lot of healing.  I was even able to wear foundation, if I wanted.  Most of the deepest sores disappeared, although I still kept to glasses and a ball cap most of the time.

Honest to goodness, the repairing oil was a miracle.  Open sores for TWO YEARS.  There was no hope of healing despite many doctor's prescriptions until I was able to try the Repairing Oil, ($79/1oz, in the golden bottle).  I've repurchased twice and it's worth every penny.  (I am wearing minimal makeup in the above picture).

Early this year, I found out the facial disaster was from celiac disease.  I stopped eating gluten products and saw more healing but was left with scars and tons of discoloration.  I thought I might have to get some kind of expensive resurfacing treatment to continue as a beauty blogger.  And now is where the fun begins!!!

I was sent some of the Repairing Tint and Radiance Moisturizer to test.  It comes in four colors, as seen below.  I haven't blended them for you because I wanted you to see the differences.  Also, I don't have all four colors, so I ran down to Ulta to swatch them for you.   From left to right:  Light, Medium Light, Medium, Dark.  I have both Light and Medium.  I was the absolute palest I've ever been over the winter and Light was a perfect match.  Being a tinted moisturizer, you do have some play in the shades in application, meaning you can mix it with moisturizer and make it lighter or you can layer to make it darker.  I am probably a Light Medium now, but I use the Light and then contour with the Medium and that works for me.

tinted moisturizer, spf, skincare, foundation

When I started using the Repairing Tint and Radiance Mositurizer, I immediately saw an improvement to my skin both in how it looked and in how much more of an even tone and texture that I was having.  I now have no plans to get any kind of facial treatement.  The Algenist is doing it all for me.

I'm more comfortable with how I look now.  I'm not even embarassed by the small amount of remaining healing to go.  I can do anything!!!  I can return to mugging for the camera in my jammies while goofing with eyebrows.

skincare, spf, healing, celiac, foundation

I can go to Ulta, or anywhere else, for a quick swatchfest without makeup and not have to hide or be embarassed.

I can take random lip swatches in my car.   In the picture below, I'm wearing the Algenist tinted moisturizer.

You can see there's a tiny bit of the Duhring's Disease from Celiac left, but boy, oh boy, do I not even care about that because Algenist has improved my skin so much.  I'm fully confident that my skin will look better and better with continued use.

I mentioned three things that this tinted moisturizer sun protection, provides amazing skin treatment qualities and the third is how it looks on the skin.

Dahling, it look marvelous!!  It really does.  It goes on smoothly and evenly.  It has light to medium coverage without being too light, feeling heavy or masky, and is buildable to cover whatever you want to.  The wear of this is incredible.  It looks great and doesn't melt off in even 115 degrees F.  SERIOUSLY.

Do you know that I've walked through Nordstrom, more than once, and have been stopped by an makeup artist and asked what I was wearing?  Not my clothing mind you, but they asked about what foundation I had on because my skin just glowed.  They've asked about my "perfect" skin and how I use foundation without it being obvious.  They really have, and it does make me laugh because I remember how awful Mrs. Frankenstein was.

I love the way this looks and how it wears.  I love that it's buildable without looking cakey.  I love that it's not runny and weird like so many I've used.  I love that it looks natural.  I love that it protects my skin while using it's ingredients to make it healthier.  I love the radiance it imparts to my naturally dull skin.  There's not one thing I don't love about it.

Algenist skincare is sold at Sephora, UltaNordstrom, and Algenist's own website.  I have loved everything I've used.  The Repairing Tint and Radiance Moisturizer is in my top three.  I can't decide if it's number 1 or 2, so maybe you might want to test drive it and number it for your own skin, too.  Algenist loaded the bases with the Repairing Oil and just knocked it out of the part with the tinted moisturizer!!  Home Run!!!

Have you been fortunate enough to discover Algenist yet?  Do you know anyone with Celiac Disease who has suffered from this skin ailment?

New From Algenist - Hope For Those Darned Large Pores

This week, I got some awesome news from Algenist. They have developed three new products that help to nourish skin, clarify and visibly reduce pores for a more radient complexion. I was pretty excited to hear about these products as I have started to develop larger pores in the past year. I've been really lucky so far that I never had a pore problem, and it's probably nothing anyone would notice without a 10x mirror, but it makes me wonder about what's happening as part of the aging process.

So there came Algenist, AS IF THEY READ MY MIND!!!! Look at this:

Alguronic Acid is as near a miracle ingredient for skincare as they come.  I've had great success with the brand and really look forward to using these products, too.  Say hello to great skin and goodbye to pores!!! I'll be sure to let you know what I discover from my own use, but I'm very hopeful.

To learn more about these products, check the Algenist website for more information.  You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter.

Algenist Triple-Action Micropolish & Peel Will Change Your Skin!! You Will Love It!

Adding Algenist Triple Action Micropolish and Peel has changed my skin in every way. My skin is smoother. My pores are more refined. You need to get this; it's good for everybody. I really want to call this my favorite product from Algenist, but in truth, the combination of the Eye Renewal Balm and the Firming and Lifting Eye Gel have changed my droopy eye space for the better.  The delicate eye area ages quicker than the rest of your face so those two products are my favorite but this one is close in second place.

Algenist Triple Action Micropolish & Peel

From the Algenist website: "Leveraging the science of biotechnology, this advanced microdermabrasion peel resurfaces the skin with a 10% acid duo (patent-pending Alguronic Acid + Glycolic Acid) in a potent combination with a 10% fruit enzyme complex and micro polishing crystals to immediately transform skin texture & tone."

The people at Algenist have discovered a remarkable ingredient that is the key to the success of their products. Alguronic Acid has been shown to provide significant protection from UV cell damage and DNA damage. It was found in a specific strain of microalgae and Alguronic Acid is a trademarked name for this specific compound. It promotes skin regeneration which helps repair those deep wrinkles. I would urge you to check the links to the website that give you more information.

Contained in the large tube is 2 fl oz of product. It has a light gel consistancy with micro polishing crystals. The gel is easy to wear and doesn't feel all masky or tight when you let it sit on your skin. You can see the little scrubbers in the blob on my finger.

Algenist Triple-Action Micropolish & Peel

From the website, this is how it works: "Micro polishing crystals mechanically lift off larger skin-dulling cells and buff rough skin to reveal a new radiant skin surface. The acid duo and fruit enzyme complex work deep into the epidermis to lift away dull skin cells and to reveal skin that appears regenerated, smoother and more even."

These are the active ingredients in the peel:
Alguronic Acid/Glycolic Acid Duo: Generates dermal cell renewal by removing the top layer of cells to regenerate smoother, more even skin underneath.
Micropolishing Crystals: Supports mechanical epidermal exfoliation to lift off larger skin-dulling cells and buffs away rough skin to reveal a radiant new skin surface.
Pumpkin & pomegranate fruit enzymes: Helps the enzymatic dissolution of smaller skin-dulling cells

These are the inactive ingredients: Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Glycolic Acid, Lactobacillus/Pumpkin Ferment Extract, Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum Fruit Ferment Extract, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Hydrogenated Jojoba Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Algae Exopolysaccharides, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Algae Extract, Glucosamine HCL, Galactoarabinan, Camellia Oleifera Leaf Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Leuconostoc/ Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Urea, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Isostearate, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Magnesium Oxide, Fragrance (Parfum), Limonene, Phenoxyethanol.

To use this product, apply an even layer to clean, moist skin, avoiding the eyes. Using circular motions, gently activate the micro-crystals to polish the skin. Leave on for 3-5 minutes, then remove using warm water or a warm, wet facecloth. Apply up to twice a week. Use only as directed. You need to be sure to use sunscreen and limit exposure while using this or any product containing alphahydroxy acids, (AHAs).

The Triple-Action Micropolish & Peel is:
Suitable for all skin types
Dermatologist tested
Opthamologist tested
Not tested on animals

All Algenist products are formulated without:
Synthetic dyes

When I started using this product, in combination with my other skincare, I saw a dramatic difference in how my skin looked. It glowed with a natural texture that was renewed and improved. I had recently started to have some expanding pores which were a concern and the Micropolish & Peel, I believe, is responsible for their newly toned state and for stopping the expansion. My pores are more clear. My skin is smoother. With regular use, my skin looks like I've had one of those fancy Hollywood know the ones the stars get before they go to the Golden Globes or the Oscars, so that their skin glows with smoothness and reduced lines and wrinkles. My skin looks like that. I'm so thankful to have been able to use this product and experience what it has done for me. I say you need this. Everyone needs this.

You can purchase this Algenist product  on their website, Sephora or QVC.    The retail price is $75 and worth every single penny!    Also, there is currently a special on the Algenist website of a deluxe size Complete Eye Renewal Balm with any $50 purchase.  That's a great gwp!!  You can follow Algenist on Twitter, and on Facebook for product information and announcements of specials and sales.

Algenist Ultra Lightweight UV Defense Fluid SPF 50

We've all heard the dangers of too much sun exposure, the least of which are lines and wrinkles. At it's worst, sun damage can lead to skin cancer. Nobody wants that. Let me help you try to keep your skin in the best possible health by introducing you to Algenist Ultra Lightweight UV Defense Fluid SPF 50.

Algenist SPF 50, Alguronic Acid, sunscreen, skincare

The people at Algenist have discovered a remarkable ingredient that is the key to the success of their products. Alguronic Acid has been shown to provide significant protection from UV cell damage and DNA damage. It was found in a specific strain of microalgae and Alguronic Acid is a trademarked name for this specific compound. It promotes skin regeneration which helps repair those deep wrinkles. I would urge you to check the links to the website that give you more information.

The bottle has a little squeeze top nozzle that is very easy to use.

Algenist SPF 50, Alguronic Acid, sunscreen, skincare

Just shake it up and squeeze out a little bit of the sunscreen. You'll find that it absorbs really well and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy or slimey like some sunscreens.

Algenist SPF 50

This sunscreen is dermatologist tested, approved for all skin types, non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic. It is oil-free and approved for all skin types. It is a not tested on animals. It also blocks UVA and UVB sunscreen. It's the perfect all around sunscreen for everyone.

Here are the active ingredients:

Algenist SPF 50, Alguronic Acid, sunscreen, skincare

And the rest of the ingredients:

Algenist SPF 50, Alguronic Acid, sunscreen, skincare

All Algenist products are formulated without parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, phthalates, GMOs and Triclosan.

Now for my testimony: I've told you in the recent past that Algenist is my number one product line find for 2012 because it's working for me. The products, in general, are clarifying my skin and lessening the look of fine lines and wrinkles. This sunscreen, in particular, was exceptional. I loved the quick absorbtion and non-greasy feel to my skin. It kept my skin from burning but more importantly, it kept my husband from burning.

You'd have to know my husband and his skin type. He has a ruddy complexion and his skin is very sensitive. It burns if he sees a picture of sunshine...that kind of thing. He takes antibiotics on a regular basis, so if he goes to check the mail and stands outside too long, he'll burn. This is the first sunscreen of any SPF number that he's ever been able to use that kept him from burning. It's a modern day miracle. Honestly!!! He's used 50s, 70s, 100 and still managed to burn. With this sunscreen, he is in no danger from the suns rays outside. We've got another winner from Algenist!!

You can purchase the Algenist Ultra Lightweight UV Defense Fuild SPF 50 on the Algenist website, QVC or Sephora.  It retails for $38 for a 1 fl oz size.  Please read my other Algenist reviews because I really think you'd like the products if you try them.  They're helping to improve my skin.  (My favorite product of 2012 is the Algenist Complete Renewal Eye Balm.)

(This product was provided by PR for consideration which has no bearing on my review.  All opinions expressed are my own honest evaluation.  Please see disclosure policy for more information.)

Winter Skincare Tips From Dr Jody Levine Plus My Top Pick From 2012

Board certified dermatologist Dr. Jody Levine works with Algenist Skincare and she has pulled together a few tips for taking care of skin during this long winter.   (ALGENIST is my top pick of beauty finds for 2012, with the Complete Eye Renewal Balm being my favorite item of the year!)

Cleanse: Your skincare routine each day should start and end with the use of a cleanser, so it is crucial to use one that is both dependable and hydrating. Often times cleansers can be too aggressive which can cause short-term and long-term damage to skin. It is important to use a gentle face wash to awaken the skin and leave it clean and restored. The Algenist Gentle Rejuvenating Cleanser ($25) digs deep to remove makeup and dirt, but remains gentle enough not to dry out the skin. Skin is instantly left smoothed, revived and radiant while the protective cells skin needs are left in place.

Reduce Wrinkles: We all know that skin needs to be cleansed, moisturized and exfoliated on a regular basis, but the addition of a power-house serum into your skincare regime can quickly and effectively improve your skin’s health, in addition to solving a number of cosmetic problems. Serums not only moisturize, rejuvenate, lift and nourish skin; they also fight wrinkles and lines and help diminish the appearance of dark spots – all in just a few drops a day. Serums can also help boost the amount of collagen within the skin and provide much-needed nutrients to help counteract the signs of aging. Algenist’s Concentrated Reconstructing Serum ($95) is a favorite among many experts due to the clinically-proven decrease in wrinkles and increase in skin density and radiance which you’ll see in just 10 days of use. It is a staple in my daily skincare routine.

Moisturize: You don’t have to be a dermatologist to understand the importance of using a moisturizer, but what’s harder to recognize is the importance of finding the right moisturizer for your skin type. During the winter months, skin inevitably becomes dry, thus bringing to life a number of unwanted issues – from cracked skin and dehydration, to aging and wrinkles, dry skin is an issue that cannot be ignored. The Regenerative Anti-Aging Moisturizer ($90) from Algenist is a moisturizer like no other. The luxurious and moisturizing formula hydrates skin while also rebuilding firmness and elasticity. With regular use, the Regenerative Anti-Aging Moisturizer is proven to minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores leaving skin revived and hydrated.

Bright-Eyed: Eyes are one of the first places that aging really shows, and unfortunately fine lines and wrinkles begin to appear in the delicate areas around your eyes much sooner than expected, taking many by surprise. But fear not! These lines can be slowed – or stopped – with the use of topical creams designed to moisturize, protect and reduce wrinkles. Build the usage of an eye cream into your routine each morning and evening as they really can improve the quality of skin around your eyes within weeks. Algenist’s Complete Eye Renewal Balm ($65) is the perfect cream to lock water into the skin keeping it moisturized and firm, help diminish dark circles, puffiness and eye contours in just four weeks of daily use.

Of the products mentioned in the article, I have used the serum and the eye balm.  Hands down, this eye balm is my favorite find of 2012.  It's the best eye cream I've ever used.  I firmly believe these products are helping my skin.

Algenist Firming and Lifting Eye Gel Review

I've tried quite a few products from Algenist. In their skincare, they use a breakthrough technology called Alguronic Acid. I've talked quite a bit about it in previous reviews for the Targeted Deep Wrinkle Minimizer and the Complete Renewal Eye Balm, but if you haven't read those reviews.  You need to hear about Alguronic Acid.

The quick and simple explanation is Alguronic Acid is produced from a specific strain of microalgae and has shown a 55% increase in cellular regeneration rate.  You can also read about it on the Algenist website.  I'm going to tell you a bit more about it at the end of this particular review but I want to get into the Firming & Lifting Eye Gel because it is so darned awesome!!

Algenist Firming and Lifting Eye Gel

The Firming and Lifting Eye Gel comes in a pump type of bottle in a 0.5 oz supply, which retails for $68 USD. A little dab will do ya and all you need is a small bead of the lightweight gel to cover the eye areas. Apply it twice a day over your eye balm.

Algenist Lifting and Firming Eye Gel

I have been using this gel in combination with the Algenist Complete Renewal Eye Balm and it has really increased the results I've seen in my eye area.  My skin is so much smoother and it is showing a lifted appearance, which is thrilling for me.  The Alguronic Acid has regenerative properties and I think my eyes look better for using these products.  I was really feeling a little concerned about sagginess before I started using this gel, and I believe is the only thing that could help sans plastic surgery.

I'm going to share with you from the Algenist website what they say about it's claims in clinical trials and the ingredients.

Active Ingredients:
Alguronic Acid: Increases cell regeneration and elastin synthesis.
ProPeptide3: Proteins and peptides restructure, strengthen and repair skin.
Caffeine & Alfalfa: Reduces puffiness and inflammation.
Chamomile: Soothes the eye area.

The Firming & Lifting Eye Gel is:
Suitable for all skin types
Dermatologist tested
Opthamologist tested
Not tested on animals

All Algenist products are formulated without:

I would urge you to visit the Algenist website to learn more about Alguronic Acid and what products they have available. My bottom line is that I feel that they're working for me and that I'm doing something good to my face when I use the products.  I've seen positive results with these products and I am hooked on Algenist.  Before using this product, I never would have thought anything but plastic surgery could actually help the look of the eye aging process. I wish I had really descriptive words that I could use about this products that would give you a good word picture of what it's done for me. All I can really say is I love it and I think you need it.

I really feel that anything which helps turn back the damage my skin has encountered during life is a true bargain. Algenist products can be found on their website, Sephora or QVC.   You can follow Algenist on Twitter, and on Facebook for product information and announcements of specials and sales.

Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm Review

What would you like to see in an eye cream? Minimized eye wrinkles? Reducing puffiness? Repairing signs of aging and fatigue?   Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm does this and more. It has Alguronic Acid, Vitamin C and a few other key ingredients I'm going to tell you about but before I get into all the technical stuff, I want to tell you plainly and simply what I think of this eye balm.

Algenist Complete Renewal Eye Balm, skincare, Alguronic Acid, eye cream

It comes in a .5 fl oz jar that has a very clean look, just like all the Algenist products. I like this simple clean look of the packaging. Open the jar and you have...that's eye cream. I've been using this for several weeks and there's barely a dent in it. It will last me quite awhile.

You can see, in the next photo, that the eye balm is a lightweight cream. I REALLY like that. So many eye creams are heavy and greasy and can cause milia around the eyes. This isn't one of those. It sinks right into the skin being easily absorbed.

My history with eye creams has been really spotty, with most of the spots being gaping holes. Most that I tried here and there were either greasy, too thick or too rich. Many didn't absorb and most would cause milia. I didn't start using eye cream on a regular basis until about six or eight months ago. It's shocking really and I don't recommend waiting as long as I did but I just didn't like anything. I'm ashamed to tell you I haven't used an eye cream daily until 2012. :-0

I got a great sales pitch on a Chanel eye cream awhile ago and started using it but in all this time, I still hadn't decided if I liked it or not. It wasn't as thick and gross as some, but it was still a little greasy for me and I was getting a milia bump from it. It just wasn't all that the salesperson promised either. I was just trying to use it up so I could justify trying something else since I'd spent $$$ on it. Overall, there wasn't that much I liked about it but wouldn't admit that to myself until just now.

Since I've been using the Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm, I've been much happier with my eye care. I can really tell it's being absorbed into my skin. After I apply the Eye Renewal Balm, I use the Algenist Targeted Deep Wrinkle Minimizer over the deepest lines. (You can read my review for that via the link.) The only way I have to say whether I have help from these items is my pictures over a period of time and I think I'm holding steady with these products. I'm not a scientist so I can't give you percentages or anything, but I think these are helping me. I just wish I'd started them years ago.

From the Algenist website, the claims of the Complete Eye Renewal Balm are:

Active Ingredients:
  1. Alguronic Acid: increases cell regeneration and elastin synthesis.
  2. Vitamin C: boosts radiance and reduces wrinkles.
  3. Caffeine: reduces puffiness around the eyes.
  4. Cucumber extract: smoothes, hydrates, and nourishes the skin.

The Complete Eye Renewal Balm is fragrance free, dermatologist tested, non-comedogenic, hypoallerginic, NOT tested on animals, and suitable for all skin types.

You can read more about the Eye Balm on the website.  The full retail size of .5 fl ounce retails for $65 and can be purchased on the Algenist website, QVC or Sephora.

So let's talk for a minute about the ingredient Alguronic Acid.  I've covered it my previous Algenist post.  You can also read about it on the Algenist website.  The quick and simple explanation is Alguronic Acid is produced from a specific strain of microalgae and has shown a 55% increase in cellular regeneration rate.

From the website:  " Promotion of skin cell regeneration is considered to be the foundation of Alguronic Acid’s age repairing and delaying effects on the skin. Promoting the growth of new, vital skin cells and eliminating old, damaged cells could help smooth skin texture, decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, even skin tone and boost radiance. "

I would urge you to visit the Algenist website to learn more about Alguronic Acid and what products they have available.  My bottom line is that I feel that they're working for me and that I'm doing something good to my face when I use the products.  The Complete Eye Renewal Balm is working so much better for me than any eye cream I've used before and it's something that I'm going to stick with.  I just wish I'd found it three decades ago or more.  :)

Have you tried Algenist products?  Just out of curiosity, what is your favorite kind of packaging?  I love this clean black and white look, anything clean and simple, and retro styling.  Retro is probably my favorite; what's yours?
