Deborah Lippmann Brick House Fall 2011 Nail Polish Swatches and Review

Four nail polishes were recently released by Deborah Lippmann for her Fall 2011 collection. Today I have some pictures of Brick House. This polish is a brick orange color with lots of shine. I had a difficult time photographing it because you have the shine in the middle where the light hits the nail and then the darkenss on the outside where the light doesn't. I love, love, love this color. My husband loves this color.

I regret cutting my nails shorter this week. I was having trouble typing on my iphone and ipad so I cut down my nails. *sob* Eh, they'll grow back in time, but I can only imagine how much more fabulous this polish will look on my hands with a little longer nails.

You've got to try this color. Sure it'll be great for Autumn, but I love it for now. It's lika a sunburnt orange. Love, love, love.

What you see in these photos is just two layers of polish and a quick dry top coat.

So far, I've had this on for three days with no chipping. A couple nails had a little bit of shrinkage from the quick dry top coat, but that can easily be remedied. Did I mention I adore this color?

Not to scare anyone, but here comes the creature of the black lagoon, crawling out to be noticed. Oh lookie!! The creature is wearing the same polish I am!!!

Deborah Lippmann Nail Polishes Single Ladies, Stormy Weather and Brick House Swatches - Sneak Peak of Fall 2011

This is a sneak peak of Deborah Lippmann's Fall 2011 collection, featuring three of the colors; Single Ladies, Stormy Weather and Brick House. I didn't purchase Billionaire because they had no testers and I just had to guess and choose the ones I thought I'd wear. The sales person tried to talk me out of Single Ladies based on the color of the bottle and I told her I'm getting it anyway and I'm glad I did. It's nothing like what she was guessing when she was trying to talk me out of it. Weird, huh?

I will be doing a manicure tonight of Single Ladies, but for now, I have swatched them on a nail wheel and want to give you a quick sneak peak of the colors so you get a basic idea in case your store doesn't have testers either. I have taken photos inside and outside in the sun to compare the way the colors look in different lightings.

Single Ladies is a delicious cranberry. It is a little bit sheer and may take three coats for total opaqueness. I'll know for sure later tonight.

Brick House is a frosted burnt orange.

Stormy Weather is a grey. Pure grey. It isn't a nearly black, it is deep grey. I like that you can tell it's grey, instead of being unsure if it's black or grey. In some photos, my red camera is reflected on the edges, so just be sure to know, there is no pink at all in this grey, it's camera fail.

Here's a few more pictures to hold you until you pick yours up.
