Wet N Wild Glassy Gloss Lip Gel Swatches And Review!!

If you're not familiar with Wet N Wild cosmetics, oh people, you need to be! The prices are amazing with unbeatable quality, ESPECIALLY for the price. I have been impressed with every product I've used from them in the past couple of years and it makes me wonder, if they can produce makeup of such great quality for pennies in comparison, why can't other brands?

At any rate, I was pleased to receive samples of four of the Wet N Wild Glassy Gloss Lip Gels to check out and see what I thought of them. I hadn't tried this product before so I thought this would be a fun experiment. The .4 fl oz tube lip glosses retail for $2.99 in the US and can be found wherever Wet N Wild products are sold. In my area, that includes Fred Meyer, Walgreens, Wal Mart and Target. Other areas also carry them at places like CVS and Rite-Aid.

The colors I received are 309A Thru The Looking Glass, 310A This Too Shall Glass, 312A Glass Is In Session, and 313A 3,2,1 Glass-t Off! You can see them pictured from left to right in that same order.

Through the Looking Glass is a clear glossy gloss. It provides an enormous amount of shine with no sparkle or color. I have pictures both indoors and out to compare.

Look at the shine from the sun!!

#310A - This Too Shall Glass is a light baby pink with shimmer. Not a frosty pink, but a pink with shimmer. Inside pictures and out.

Next is 321A Glass Is In Session, a bright pink with pink shimmer. I've worn this one the most, so I'm calling it my favorite. :)

And the fourth lipgloss sent to me is 313A 3-2-1 Glass-t Off! It is a strawberry color with the same colored shimmers.

I've been wearing these glosses for over a week now so that I could give you an accurate review of the wear and quality. I've worn them alone, over lip pencils and over lipsticks. First of all, these are a non-sticky gloss and have a gel type of feel. I always thought a gloss needed to be sticky to wear well, but these lip gel glassy glosses wear as well as anything I've worn that is sticky. I was quite surprised. I can't give you a time estimate of how long they wear because I don't work that way. I drink fluids constantly, so all I can tell you is that I had great wear thru all my bottles of water as I have had with any glossimer or similar type of gloss.

So they past the length test, they obviously pass the shine test, they MORE than pass the price for quality test, and now let's talk taste. They taste great. It is a fruity type of taste. I can't say it's any one particular flavor over another, but it's fruity and it's pleasant. I thank God it's not melon flavored. If there's any lip product I can't stand, it's a fake melon flavor or even fake strawberry. This is just a pleasant fruity flavor.

All in all, I am beyond impressed with these lip gel glosses. I am so happy to be able to give them a positive review and before I sign off, besides telling you that you really need to try them, let me leave you with a hand swatch in sunlight. The clear didn't show, so I just have a swatch photo of the three colored glosses.

Ain't they purdy???? You'll find these shown in many past and upcoming looks that I blog about. You can view such a post with me wearing This Too Shall Glass over a nude lipliner.

So get off the computer and go get these now!!  Just a little friendly advice.  :)

Wet N Wild Spoiled Brat Eye Trio Reviews and Swatches...And More!

Today's lesson, class, is HOW TO APPRECIATE A SPOILED BRAT.

Step One: See the pretty!

Step two: See the pretty in sunlight and admire all it's amazing qualities:

Step Three: Make some Swatches and Admire the Nuances of Color!

The pink has gorgeous fuchsia and violet shimmers to give it the perfect pink look. It can also be used as a blush to tie your look together or on the lips with clear WnW Glassy Gloss over it. The shimmering silver is the most perfect silver you'll ever find. The black has silver shimmers to make it special.

Step Four: Apply the Shadows On Your Eyes:

Step Five: Tell Your Friends!!!!

This is the second best part. Wearing the trio is the first. Wet N Wild makes such great shadows and at such a fabulous price, I seriously just can't believe it. The shadows are buttah to apply. All Wet N Wild Trios come with a mini brush and a mini sponge brush as well.

When I spied this trio at the store, I knew immediately that I would go outside the box and apply the shades differently than suggested. I often love to put a pink or peach in and just above my crease. I have, well...huge eye space, and it helps blend my eyes with any blush I might wear as well as blending my eye spaces a bit better with the rest of the mug.

This could possibly be my favorite trio so far, although I put off wearing it till I'd tried many others. I thought the colors were kind of bold in the pan but when I used it, I found I could blend them to either boldness or a lighter color...whatever depth I wanted. Love them all but especially the black. The silver glitter is awesome!!! It doesn't fall out all over the face during the day. I had no creasing with any colors, just with my falling eyelids, lol.

I wanted a nude lip with a little bit of color to it, so I applied a nude liner and then put Wet N Wild Glassy Gloss Lip Gel This Too Shall Glass. I was provided with a sample of some Glassy Gloss which I will give a full review later this week. But here is a pinky gloss on top of the nude liner, in two lightings. One shows the color better; the other shows the juiciness of the gloss.

And again, my look of the day, which wore well. I just couldn't be more thrilled with the Wet N Wild Trios and the Glassy Gloss Lip Gels. There are so many fun looks you can get with them. And should I see you in the store, just know I am stalking all locations for a sighting of the new limited edition trios. I can't miss them!
