VISEART TRYST AND SIREN PALETTES GRWM - MUSE BEAUTY PRO HAUL

Hey guys.  I had two videos on youtube this past week.  The first features my Muse Beauty Pro haul with a Get Ready With Me using the Viseart Tryst and Siren palettes.  Siren really surprised me because it wasn't too warm for me!!!  Win!  Win.

My next video was an After Haul, a new series I want to try to do in reasonable time periods where we review some of the items I've shown previously on my channel that you may be curious about.  As always, don't be shy about asking what you'd like to see reviewed.  A lot of times, it might be a month or more before I use something I've picked up....due to limited edition fomo, health issues, trips out of state or whatever, but I definitely want to be better on youtube about following up after I show newbies.

Something new has come up that I talk about in the second video - I am now an Esqido affiliate.  If you use the code shelleyp you will save 15% and I earn a commission.  I'm excited to be affiliated with a brand and products that I truly love.

Do you have plans this weekend?  There are a lot of holidays happening in different religious groups.  I'm celebrating Easter by rising from the dead, (before nine, lol), and having a neighbor over for some girlie fun.  I hope if you hide eggs that the kids find them all!!

The Makeup Show Presents The Makeup Shop And I, Forum In San Francisco This Weekend!!

If you're a regular reader, you might remember seeing me talk about The Makeup Show, held several times throughout the year in various metropolitan areas for industry professionals.  There are classes, workshops and shopping at discounted prices as well as opportunities to network with others in the industry.  An off-shoot of The Makeup Show is happening this coming weekend, (beginning March 24th), in San Francisco called The Makeup Shop.  The Makeup Shop is a public event that any makeup artist or enthusiast is able to attend.  In conjunction with The Makeup Shop is a new and exciting three day event, (beginning March 21st), full of teaching and workshops called I, Artist, The Makeup Show Forum.  The entire 5 days will be held at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco.

I would urge you to read all about the event on the website.  "iArtist pulls you deeper and pushes you further into a place where there is no limit to your success. Make up your mind to surround yourself with people that challenge you. Figure out what you need to do to be where you want to be. Meet the people who are doing it and have done it already. Make the change. Take action. Are you up for the challenge?"  Doesn't this call to action just stir your soul??  It is THE place to be this week.

Three of the lead artists were very gracious to take a moment out of their busy preperations and answer a couple of basic questions about the event for you.  I posed two quick questions to them and would like to share their thoughts with you.  It gives you a little bit more insight into the events this week.

The artists who participated in my tiny questionnaire are:

Lijha Stewart is a Makeup Artist and Breathwork Healer.   She's been an MA for over a decade, having worked as an artist and trainer for Mac Cosmetics and Make Up For Ever.  You can read her list of accomplishments as linked by her name.  It's impressive.

Danessa Myricks has a slew of accomplishments synonymous with her name.  She is a makeup artist, consultant, photographer, teacher and CEW of Danessa Myricks Beauty.  She is so incredibly beautiful that when I saw her at TMS LA, she took my breath away.  I couldn't bring myself to speak with her because - no breath!!

James Vincent is Director of Artistry at TMS, a Makeup Artist and owner of Outlaws and Rebels, which launched at TMS LA when I was there last fall.  His resume' reads like a Who's Who in the beauty and entertainment industry.  Seriously impressive credentials that you should check out on the website.  At TMS LA, I couldn't believe I was fortunate enough to sit in the front row and listen to him speak.  Artistic greatness right there!

My questions:

1)  With the new I, Artist event, what are you most looking forward to?

Stewart:  "At iArtist Forum San Fransisco I am most looking forward to the unique immersive education that only The Makeup Show can provide. Attendees will learn, experience and gain exposure in topics to enhance this artistry and business."

Myricks:  "I’m so looking forward to artists being able to experience makeup and makeup education in a completely different way. The program is really special and I sincerely believe that perspectives will shift and creativity will flow like they have never experienced before. Im seriously counting the days!"

Vincent: " iArtist: The Makeup Show Forum is an event that looks at inspiration, artistry and career in and all new way. Completely immersed in it's experience with a 360 degree view. It is artists working with experts to see the bigger picture, yet gain insight into how to make their individual artistry and career work for them. It is about putting together real plans, taking realnacrion and setting a course towards success in a much more measurable way. iArtist kicks off our new TMS Makeup Shop with an intimate look at individuality and artistry in a city that has always celebrated those two things."

2)  What makes TMS Makeup Shop SF THE place to be this weekend?

Stewart:   "TMS Makeup Show is the place to be if you're looking to connect to your community, get inspired and be immersed in all things Makeup."

Myricks:  "How often to you have so many magical, talented, fun, positive people willing to share under one roof at one time! Beyond the education and the incredible networking and community building opportunity , who doesn’t love to shop for makeup at deep discounts! It's a no brainer !"

Vincent:   "TMS Makeup Shop is the place to be for Bay area beauty lovers. Whether you are a professional hair stylist or makeup artist that needs to replenish your kit, a makeup lover that wants to see the latest trend, or someone who knows little about makeup and wants to learn this is the place to be. With education from celebriry hair and makeup experts on topics ranging from complexion to smokey eye or business success, there are some amazing opportunities to learn. There is also more makeup shopping than ever with deep pro discounts on pro must have brands like MAKE UP FOR EVER, Gerard, Danessa Myricks, and so many others. TMS Makeup Shop is an opportunity to see what's happening in fashion or find the pieces that are your own individual style with all of the tools you need and the experts that can take you there ."

These folks know how to pump a girl up!!  Reading their comments, I can feel their excitement for this week.  They have such passion for the industry and for other artists.  They are committed to education in the industry and propelling the art forward.  I'm excited for them to hold their first I, Artist TMS Forum.  If you read the list of speakers,  you might see a lot of familiar names.  I see people I've met, people I've taken classes from, and even a personal friend!!  If you are going this week, you'll just have to come back here and tell me all about it.  I really can't imagine anyplace I'd rather be this week to share the passion of the beauty community.

You can find the schedule for I, Artist here and TMS The Makeup Shop here.  Make sure you're following The Makeup Show on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.  My thanks to Lijha Stewart, Danessa Myricks and James Vincent for their participation in this article.  Create on!
