From left to right, they are Jaunty, Barefoot and Feeling Fresh. They are housed in some cute navy nautical looking packaging. I love the special release packaging Mac has. It's always cute and represents the theme of the collection well.
Jaunty is a light golden beige frost, kind of a frosted wheat tone, the kind of color I collect like some people breathe air.
Barefoot is a green toned golden shadow in the veluxe pearl formula. This shadow reminds me a lot of Gorgeous Gold without the duochrome. It's less green, and more antique gold in tone.
Feeling Fresh is the color of freshly cut grass. It's called a frost without really being frosty. Instead, it has some micro sparkle particles within.
You can see in the following swatch that with a finger, they apply lightly in color. They aren't real soft shadows, giving up a lot of pigment when you swatch with a finger, but applied, they work nicely and show up well on the lids.
Here they are on the lids. Jaunty was placed heavily in the inner eye, Barefoot across the lid, and I think you can see where Feeling Fresh is. Nothing went in the crease. I did learn an important lesson while playing with these shadows: never, under any circumstances, should you attempt to text while lining your eye.
I put the Hey, Sailor! eyeshadows together with the blushes and lip items that I purchased from the collection. I'll cover those in the next few days, but I have to say, I totally adore Fleet Fast blush!! It's the main color you see on the cheeks in the FOTD photo.
The lips included Shore Leave Pro lip liner, To Catch A Sailor lipstick, and Blessedly Rich lipglass. All to be covered very soon.
I do like these shadows, although I have similar colors...not exactly the same, but similar. I'm not sure if I would have purchased Feeling Fresh if I'd seen it at a counter instead of ordering blind online. I don't wear bright greens often but perhaps I'll work this in now and then. If I don't, my husband will be mad I spent the money. :)
