LACC Nail Polish - La Couleur Couture - A New Polish You Have To See!!

While attending the Cosmoprof NA 2012  trade show, I happened upon a new nail polish company called LACC, which stands for La Couleur Couture.  This is a brand new polish line with ownership in Vancouver, BC. It's big 3 free and vegan friendly.  The toxins have been removed and a UV protector has been added.  The pigmentation in the colors is rich.  There's nothing I love more in cosmetics than a highly pigmented product!

There are 41 brilliant colors spanning the rainbow plus a long lasting protective base coat and a shiny top coat. The colors shine so much on their own, if you didn't use a top coat, you'd swear one was there. They have a protective UV inhibitor to keep the colors from yellowing and fading.

From the twelve colors I saw at the Cosmoprof display, I believe this company is going to work hard to stay on trend with gorgeous colors and top notch technology. They sent me home with two colors, a top coat and a base coat to experiment with.

The bottles house 4 fl oz of product. I love the square shape and the lacy decorative wings that grace the front. You could easily store gobs of these bottles neatly together. What I have to show you today are the polishes 1964, (coral), and 1977, (turquoise).

I used the LACC top coat and base coat in my swatches. I like that the base coat has a tinge of color so I can easily tell which is which. It goes on the nail as transparent.

Swatches!!!! 1964, a gorgeous reddened coral. It's so beautiful and rich. It's right on trend and will be stunning on so many different skintones. The application is not complete with just one coat; you need to use two to cover any very mild streaks you might incure. It's a slightly dusty mid-toned coral in the bottle and really comes to life on the nails.

Next, I used 1977, a stunning turquoise. My camera wanted to highlight the blue tones, rather than the green pull in it. But it's a true aqua turquoise. Stunning and again, right on trend. Two coats plus base and top coat. The first two pictures show the true turquoise nature of this polish.

I put a Venique Top Thong flakie over one nail but this picture really shows the true aqua tones within 1977.

This color was stunning alone. I didn't want to take it off ever!!! But curiousity overcame me and I had to try a couple flakie glitters over it. One being the Venique Top Thong shown above and the second is my new Fingerpaints Gourd Or Bad.

That was fun, but I really really love 1977 so much that I think I'd wear it alone to show it off. It's another color that will make driving dangerous for me because I can't stop staring at my nails when I wear it.

LACC  will be sold to salons and will begin shipping August, 2012...this month!!  Please visit their website to take a sneak peek at more colors.  My thanks to the company for providing the products for testing.  They receive a HUGE A+++++ from me.  I'm a fan!

I have to tell you some really exciting news from the company.  Their website is going to be set up to sell online by the end of August!!  This is so exciting to me!  They're having a launch party in Vancouver BC in September 2012 at the Shangri-la hotel.  It makes me want to pull out my passport and give it a work out.  If you live in the area, you may want to attend to see the colors in person.  The spa at the hotel will be carrying the line as well, so you can pop in and see it.  I'm so happy for this new company who are such a delight to talk to.  It's a great beginning.

    1. She was so lovely. I'm sorry you missed her. I was captivated talking with them and didn't write anything down. :0. It's either $15 or $16. Her email address doesn't seem to be working but I'll try to find that information for sure thru the contact address on the website. Great question!!

    1. The owner was wearing the coral at Cosmoprof. I'm pretty sure I drooled all over her fingers. I really think its a coral that spans the skintone spectrum.
