Today I'm going to show you some of the Perfect Pout lipsticks from the collection. They're each packaged in a nice shiny silver case giving them a fancy look and feel as you hold them. I like how they look. A lot. I also really appreciate the clear lid on top making it easier to pick what you're looking for in your lipstick stash.

The first four Perfect Pout lipsticks in today's post are, from left to right, Fergie Daily, Ferguson Crest Cabernet, Bebot Love, and V.I.Pink.

They are swatched in the same order in the next picture.

Turning my arm shows a little bit of difference in the lipsticks as the light hits them at another angle.

The other day, I wore Bebot Love with a smokey eye. It's the kind of light caramel color that I'm drawn to over and over again. The lipstick went on with such creaminess!!! It is more of a matte type of lipstick but it wears almost like a cream. There is a little bit of sheen to it and it doesn't fall into lip lines or creases or anything. It wore for about three hours through a couple bottles of water and only lost a small battle with some popcorn. This is exceptional wear for a lipstick that was under $4.00. There was no detectable flavor or scent.

I liked these lipsticks so much, I hurried out to get four more before they were all sold out. I have a nearly complete array of colors in the eight I chose. They all have swatched with the same creaminess except D-Vinely Chilled. It's a frost formula that is a little more sheer but it's a great sparkly plum color and the sheerness means it won't be too dark for me.
The second four lipsticks are, from left to right, Fuchsianista, Saraghina, Penthouse Sweet and D-Vinely Chilled.

I've swatched them the same way below. Out of curiosity, I swatched V.I.Pink just beneath Penthouse Sweet. V.I.Pink is more of a blue toned pink, while Penthouse Sweet has more red to it, by comparison.

Here's a lip swatch of Penthouse Sweet:

And a lipswatch of Daily.

I'll include more lip swatches in the future as I learn better facial photography with my new camera.
You can find the Wet N' Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection at Walgreen's. The display came with coupons on the front for $1 off per item, but those quickly disappeared. :( My lipsticks were $3.99 each before the coupon, but I know they're less in the Continental 48 states. I hope the swatches help you to decide which ones you'd like to wear. I'm super happy to have a new longer wearing lipstick wardrobe without having to spend a lot.
What do you like from the Centerstage Collection?

ReplyDeleteI went to Walgreens yesterday, wanting to try the lid primer in the collection and they had removed the display and everything in it from the floor. I was bummed out!!! And no one around to ask where the leftovers were. :/

ReplyDeleteThanks for the review and swatches!! The colors look pretty saturated and wearable
ReplyDeleteIndeed...they are saturated, wearable and kind of cling to your lips so they stay on a good length of time.
